Raw Vegan Spicy Brownie Truffle Ball

Snacking can be one of the hardest parts of sticking with a healthy active lifestyle. Keeping the snacks satisfying and nutritous can be a challenge. Our in-house vegan chef @VenusDeMarco has that problem solved for you. Here is her incredibly easy and tasty recipe for Vegan Raw Spicy Brownie Truffles.

Ingredients:
3 cups raw walnuts
1 cup pitted medjool dates
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla
pinch of sea salt
2 teaspoons water
2/3 cup raw cocoa
For truffle coating
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne

Directions

  1. Put walnuts in a food processor fitted with an “S” blade and process until fine ground.
  2. Add dates one at a time until walnuts and dates are incorporated
  3. Next add maple syrup, vanilla, salt, raw cocoa and water.
  4. Process until everything is incorporated and is in a big dough like ball.
  5. On a plate mix cinnamon and cayenne pepper together, set aside.
  6. Take tablespoon of the brownie mixture and roll into a ball, then roll into cinnamon mixture.
  7. Put each truffle into paper candy cups.
  8. Serve at room temperature. Keep left overs in refrigerator (if there are any)
  9. Bring me some, then you're done.
