Our diets have changed drastically in the last fifty years, from the types of foods we eat, but much more from the amount of processing these foods now undergo, changing them on a molecular level into something our bodies barely recognize.

“I’ve always been fairly fit and love to work out, and yet I knew I could do better. Building lean muscle mass at age 57 as a vegan isn’t necessarily an easy undertaking! "I joined the Beta group while I was on vacation. I had been cutting for a good 10 months prior to that. I chose to join the bulk group as I needed to work on muscle building (I was lingering in recomp). My macros and diet (% wise, but they did increase calories ) were very similar to what I had been doing prior but they had me up my aminos and this is where I felt a difference. My jiggly bits in my legs and bum were feeling firmer and more solid, I was getting more intensity in my work outs and pushing more reps and that left me scrambling for heavier weights (my home gym is very limited). "I wanted to take this opportunity to briefly tell you about my experience with the 30 Day Lean Bulk program that is coming out soon. "I've been taking PAs for a few months now- but was not consistent at all. When BodyHealth announced the Beta, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I was already following Macros and having success. I also work out 5 days a week with 1 hour strength training sessions and 3days a week I also do CrossFit immediately after my other work out. I was using a mish-mash of supplements from various companies, too much protein powder (whey) instead of real food. I mean, who doesn't love a nice serving of Dunkin Donuts Caramel Macchiato CEREAL with protein powder milk post work out??
